Racquet-Sports Club Platform

Booking, matchmaking and coaching for clubs — across web and four native apps.

A two-sided platform that connects clubs, players and coaches: booking courts, matching players of a level, running coaching, and handling payment for all of it. We built the web platform and four native apps around one back office, including real-time video so a lesson or a match arrangement can happen without leaving the product.

The problem

A racquet-sports platform has to serve three audiences at once — a club managing courts and pricing, a player looking for a game or a court, and a coach running sessions — and most tools pick one and neglect the others. It also has to work where players actually are: on a phone, at the court, as well as on a club's desktop.

How we built it

We built a single system with many front doors. The web app carries the full club and admin back office; four native apps — coach and club, each on iOS and Android — put the day-to-day actions in players' and coaches' hands. Scheduling, payments and matchmaking share one backend so a booking, a payment and a match are the same record everywhere. Real-time video is built in for lessons and match coordination, and content is editable in-product through a visual page builder rather than a redeploy.
