Saudi Arabia
A Saudi registered company, in Jeddah
We are registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with an office in Jeddah, as well as being a UK company based in London. Our Commercial Registration is 7053540790 and our National Address is JAFB8745, so a Saudi procurement team can verify us rather than taking our word for it. The things worth understanding up front are the data protection law, VAT at 15% — the highest in the region — and the Friday–Saturday working week.

- SARQuoted in SAR or USD. The riyal is pegged to the US dollar, so no exchange rate risk.

Saudi PDPL, enforced by the SDAIA
Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law is issued and enforced by the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA). It is a separate regime from the UAE's with its own regulator and its own implementing regulations - which is exactly why the two get separate pages on this site rather than one combined 'Middle East' page.
Like the UAE law, it places real conditions on transferring personal data outside the Kingdom, and consent has a more prominent role than in the GDPR. We document processing, keep data where you require it to be kept, and give you a clear answer on what crosses a border and on what basis.
- Saudi PDPL-aligned processing, with consent handling and records in place
- Cross-border transfer position documented and agreed before any data leaves the Kingdom
- Data residency built to your requirement, not to our convenience
- Breach handling aligned to SDAIA's notification requirements and timelines
SAR, 15% VAT, and tax registration
Saudi VAT is 15%, the highest in the region, and it applies broadly - worth confirming your registration position before the first invoice. VAT registration in Saudi is handled through ZATCA, and a compliant invoice carries specific requirements, so it is worth getting your tax details to us early.
The riyal has been pegged to the US dollar at 3.75 since 1986, so an SAR contract carries no meaningful currency risk. We quote in SAR or USD depending on your procurement preference.
- SAR or USD quoting, pegged rate so no FX exposure
- Saudi VAT at 15% where applicable - confirm your ZATCA position early
- Compliant tax invoice format, with your tax details confirmed before we bill
- Invoiced to your Saudi entity, or to your group entity if that is how you contract
Delivering into Vision 2030 programmes
Much digital work in Saudi now sits against Vision 2030 and the programmes running under it, and the difference is usually delivery rather than technology. Government and enterprise buyers here want local understanding of procurement, Arabic-language capability where the audience needs it, and vendors who can evidence localisation and hosting.
That used to be the hard part for us, and we used to say so: that we were a UK supplier and you might need a local partner. It is no longer true. We hold a Saudi Commercial Registration and a registered office in Jeddah, so we contract as a Saudi entity when that is what a programme requires, and the paperwork your procurement team needs is ours rather than a partner's.
We will still be straight about the boundary. We are an engineering supplier: we build well, we document thoroughly, and we hand over properly. Where a programme needs Arabic-language end users, regulated-sector accreditation, or a relationship we do not have, we will say so and, where it helps, work alongside a local partner — but we will not claim a capability we cannot evidence.
- Saudi entity available for contracting, with CR 7053540790 and National Address JAFB8745
- Documentation and handover written to be usable by your local team
- Arabic-language support where the end audience needs it — we will say plainly what we can source
- Cloud hosting in Saudi Arabia or the region when the programme requires it
- Partners brought in where a programme needs a capability we do not have
The Friday-Saturday weekend, and one shared weekend
Saudi Arabia's weekend is Friday and Saturday, which means it is largely in step with the UK's - so a client in Riyadh and a team in London have far more shared working time than the clocks suggest. A Saudi morning is a UK morning.
It does mean the effective overlap is tighter than a naive timezone calculation implies, because the shared weekend removes two days. We plan against that rather than discovering it in week three.

Questions
Working with us from Saudi Arabia
Yes. Our Commercial Registration number is 7053540790 and our National Address code is JAFB8745, both verifiable through the Saudi Business Center. Our registered office is on King Fahd Road, Al Fayha District, Jeddah 22241. We are also a UK company registered in England and Wales, so we can contract as whichever entity suits your procurement process.
No. They are separate laws under separate regulators - Saudi's is issued and enforced by the SDAIA, the UAE's by the UAE Data Office - with their own implementing regulations and their own transfer conditions. That is why this site has a page for each rather than one 'Middle East' page: a supplier who treats them as the same regime is guessing.
Saudi VAT is 15% and applies broadly, which is higher than the UAE's 5% and the UK's 20% is not the comparison - the point is that regional quotes you have seen at 5% are usually UAE, not Saudi. Confirm your ZATCA registration position before the first invoice and we will issue a compliant Saudi tax invoice.
Yes. Where a programme requires Saudi or regional hosting, we build to that requirement rather than defaulting to a UK or US region, and we will tell you what each option costs in latency and in ongoing management so the choice is an informed one.
