Cloud infrastructure that survives contact with real traffic

Most cloud problems are not exotic outages. They are an environment nobody can reproduce, a bill nobody can attribute, and one person who knows where the load balancer is. We build infrastructure that is described in version-controlled code, reproducible from scratch, and understandable by whoever inherits it — which is usually you, six months later.

Engagement

Cost reviews and audits run as fixed-scope 1–2 week engagements. Migration and platform builds are scoped in sprints, with infrastructure as code from sprint one.

What you get

Deliverables, not adjectives

This is what lands in your hands at the end. If something is missing from this list, it was not in scope — and we will say so before we start rather than after.

  • Infrastructure as code in Terraform — the whole environment reproducible from an empty account

  • CI/CD pipelines with preview environments, automated tests and one-command rollback

  • Autoscaling, load balancing and CDN configuration tuned to your actual traffic shape

  • Backup and disaster recovery with a tested restore, not just a green tick on a dashboard

  • Observability that answers questions: logs, traces, metrics and alerts routed to one place

  • A cost review with rightsizing and spend controls — usually the fastest payback on the engagement

  • A written runbook covering deploys, rollbacks, incidents and who to call

When to call us

The situations where this is the right conversation

If you recognise one of these, that is probably enough to justify a 30-minute call.

  • 01

Your AWS bill went up and nobody can explain why

We tag, attribute and break the bill down by service, environment and team, then fix the causes. Storage sprawl, idle load balancers, unindexed databases and forgotten staging environments account for most of it.

  • 02

You cannot rebuild your environment from scratch

That is a business continuity risk wearing an operations hat. We put the whole environment in Terraform and prove it by building a fresh copy in a separate account.

  • 03

    Deployments are scary

We make them routine — preview environment, automated checks, one-command rollback, and a deploy that does not require the person who built it to be awake.

  • 04

You are moving off something expensive or end-of-life

We have done monolith-to-services, self-hosted-to-cloud, and cloud-to-cloud. We run both sides in parallel, cut over deliberately, and roll back quickly if the numbers say so.

How we build it

The tools we would reach for

Not a shopping list. These are what we would actually pick for this kind of work, and we will tell you if a different tool fits your constraints better.

  • AWS
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Google Cloud
  • Terraform
  • Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • GitHub Actions
  • Cloudflare
  • Datadog
  • PostgreSQL

Examples

The shape of work this usually turns into

Illustrative scenarios, kept anonymous. Specific case studies with client names and evidenced metrics appear on our work page as clients approve them.

  • Cost recovery on an overgrown AWS estate

A multi-service estate with no tagging discipline. Introduced cost allocation, rightsized compute, moved cold data to cheaper storage and archived non-prod environments. Monthly spend reduced by a third with no change in measured performance.

    • FinOps
    • Rightsizing
    • Cost allocation
  • Lift-and-shift with zero downtime

A monolithic on-premise application migrated to cloud over an eight-week window, running in parallel with DNS-based cutover and an automated rollback. No maintenance window was needed.

    • Migration
    • Blue/green
    • Zero downtime
  • Multi-region failover, actually tested

A production platform given a documented, exercised failover path with RTO and RPO agreed in advance — and a game day that proved it worked before it was needed.

    • DR
    • Multi-region
    • Game day

Questions

Cloud: what buyers ask

Straight answers, including where the answer is that you probably do not need this.

No. Everything is expressed in Terraform, so the same infrastructure is portable between AWS, Azure and GCP. That is partly why clients pick us — you are buying the platform, not a hostage situation.
